The Star Restaurant
For 30 years, the Linster family has been welcoming you in their Michelin-star restaurant at about 10 km from Luxembourg City.
In Frisange, you can expect the highest culinary standards, warm guest relations and a relaxed atmosphere.
In the meantime our chef and youngest star chef of Luxembourg Louis Linster and his team will cook for you in a creative and sophisticated way.
Highest product quality, harmonious combinations have top priority.
The restaurant has 3 rooms, our main hall,
"Le Salon" a privatized winter garden from 6 persons
and "Le Bar" from 18 persons.
The history of the restaurant begins when Léa Linster completely renovated her father's old petrol station, which served as a bistro, bowling alley and tobacco shop. Today it is a place of exchange, passion and enjoyment for the kitchen.
In 1987, the commitment and generosity of Léa and her team was rewarded with the award of a Michelin Guide star, the first to be awarded the restaurant of Léa in Frisange.
After a complete redesign of the garden in 2010, the view from the dining rooms now wanders over this area, which looks like a beautiful natural park, while one is pampered by the culinary delights of Louis Linster's kitchen, Léa's son, who now runs the family business in the fourth generation.
Since 2017 Louis Linster Léa's son has been in charge of the kitchen and is Luxembourg's youngest Michelin-star chef. In October 2020, he was been awarded the title of Young Chef of the Year 2021 by Gault & Millau.
